Natural shampoo from Andalusia

Mild shampoos with Mediterranean botanicals, for daily hair care. For your range or under your own brand.

In brief

Mild formulas for daily hair washing.

Botanicals such as rosemary leaf extract, olive or aloe vera.

Liquid shampoo in bottles or hotel formats, agreed per project.

What is a natural shampoo?

There is no legal definition of ‘natural shampoo’ in the EU. What matters is the INCI list: which cleansing agents are used and which plant ingredients the formula contains.

Rosemary leaf extract (Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract) and aloe vera (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice) are typical botanical ingredients in our shampoo formulas. Claims about effects on hair or scalp must be supported by evidence under Regulation (EU) No 655/2013 on cosmetic claims (EUR-Lex).

Which shampoo formats are available for wholesale?

Liquid shampoo in retail bottles is the usual format. Hotels and spas often ask for guest sizes or dispensers.

Container, closure and fill size are agreed per project. A matching conditioner can be added to complete the line. Minimum quantities and lead times are stated in the written offer.

What does a shampoo need before it can be sold in the EU?

Every cosmetic product placed on the EU market needs a Responsible Person established in the EU, a Cosmetic Product Safety Report and a notification in the CPNP. The label must show, among other things, the INCI ingredient list, nominal content and durability marking.

These obligations are set out in Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 (EUR-Lex). Products must also be manufactured in line with good manufacturing practice; EN ISO 22716 is the recognised standard for this. We discuss which documents you need for your channel before we send an offer. Overview: European Commission: Cosmetics.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the shampoo suitable for daily use?

Our shampoos are designed as mild formulas for frequent washing. Specific claims are made only where the manufacturer can document them.

Can I combine shampoo and shower gel in one line?

Yes. Matching scents and packaging across shampoo, shower gel and body lotion are possible.

Do you make claims such as ‘against hair loss’?

No. Such claims go beyond cosmetic care and are not part of our product communication.

Which hair type is the shampoo suitable for?

We agree this per concept: a mild shampoo for normal hair or a richer formula for dry and long hair. The intended hair type is stated on the label.

Is the shampoo silicone-free?

That depends on the formula and can be checked on the INCI list. Formulas without silicones are possible on request; whether a ‘free from’ statement may appear on the label is checked against the EU criteria for cosmetic claims.

Can the shampoo be used on coloured hair?

Mild formulas are possible. A statement such as ‘for coloured hair’ may only appear on the label if it is backed by suitable evidence, as Regulation (EU) No 655/2013 requires.

How do I use shampoo correctly?

Wet your hair, massage a small amount into the scalp and lengths, then rinse thoroughly. Avoid contact with the eyes; if it happens, rinse with water.

Is a solid shampoo bar available too?

We check on request whether one of our partner manufacturers can produce a shampoo bar for your concept. Feasibility, packaging and quantities are confirmed in the offer.

Do you supply shampoo for hotels?

Yes. Small formats and refillable dispensers are available on request, often as a line together with shower gel. Details are on the wholesale page.

Can I get a rosemary shampoo?

Rosemary extract can be part of the concept and then appears on the INCI list as Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract. We do not make claims about hair growth.

Does rosemary shampoo help hair growth?

A shampoo is a cosmetic that cleanses the hair and scalp; it may not promise to make hair grow. Rosemary (Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract) contributes a fresh scent and a caring character. For hair loss, see a doctor or dermatologist.

Do I need a conditioner after a rosemary shampoo?

That depends on your hair. Long, dry or coloured hair usually detangles more easily with a conditioner; short or fine hair often does without. For hotels and private label, shampoo and conditioner can be planned as a matching line.
